Pushkar - the Hindu pilgrimage town

This Hindu pilgrimage town is a magical desert-edged place. In contrary to the many of the other Indian cities there is an obvious silence in Pushkar. A lake is sourrounded by 52 bathing ghats, where pilgrims bathe in the sacred waters. The photograph below shows the mystically magnetic lake, where hundreds of milky-coloured temples and domes are placed beneath a clear blue sky.
